In this tutorial, we imitate some promos for MBC2 that was originally created by a motion graphic artist named Alexander Grinke. This promo had a letter inflate then explode like a balloon. To do this, we will use a combination of rigid body dynamics, soft body dynamics, cloth and tear simulations to replicate the effect. It’s actually quite simple and a lot of fun to do.
